| “I bought and built this car in my early 20’s. Then in 2015 I bought a new Mustang, and this one has been sitting around most of the time since then. I change the oil once a year, run it around the block once a month or so. Told myself I would eventually do something new with it, but I have to move for work and I can’t bring it. The long and short of it is, this is an ugly car with an outstanding core. Runs and drives, but I wouldn’t take her for a 4 hour drive. Personally I would tow, but that’s up to the buyer. About this vehicle This 1985 Ford Mustang is a project vehicle with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes I bought and built this car in my early 20’s. Then in 2015 I bought a new Mustang, and this one has been sitting around most of the time since then. I change the oil once a year, run it around the block once a month or so. Vehicle Details Bought this car as a shell in my early 20’s and set out to build a fun drag strip car. Installed a 331ci D.S.S. Motor with trick flow twisted wedge heads and Track Heat intake, BBK long tubes, FRPP 30lb injectors, billet fuel rail w/AN fittings -6/-8braided fuel hose, MSD Blaster coil & 6-AL box. Fuel pump is an Aeromotive Stealth, quiet with plenty of supply. Tuned personally with Binary Editor. Transmission is original with an upgraded clutch, but I don’t remember which clutch I installed. It shifts well with zero slip/issue. Plenty of life left. Had a Pro 5.0 shifter installed with a button wired for line lock on the shifter. The rear end is out of a 1991 Mark VII as it’s got big disc brakes and is proper length for newer 5-lug wheels. It was straightened and the tubes welded before install. Inside the pumpkin is a FRPP 3.73 gearset. UPR coil overs with Strange 10-way adjustable a at all 4 corners. I like the ease of adjustability too ride height, but after sitting a while, there are groans/creaks on turns. Exterior Exterior is rough. Looks better in pictures than in person. Interior Interior is clean. Very clean original seats, dash and center console out of ‘89 model. Engine 331ci D.S.S. engine with Trick Flow Twisted Wedge Heads, Trick Flow Track Heat intake,30lb injectors, PMAS MAF, custom cut high lift Comp Cam, engine makes great power. Original World Class T-5 trans, 1991 Lincoln Mark VII rear end w/ 3.73 FRPP gears, straightened and welded tubes, 5-lug conversion with disc brakes all around. No parking brake currently installed.
