I am selling this truck for my son who is in the military and will not need this vehicle anymore. He did not restore or build it. He bought it the way you see it except for the wheels, tires and lights he upgraded. It is a 5.9 360cid, 727 Automatic 3 speed, 9.5 rear, 10Klbs. winch mounted on aftermarket winch bumper, Dropstar wheels, 20x10.5 with brand new Nexen Terragrap tires. Ceramic window tint all around, interior is in great shape, no rips in seats, carpet and headliner in good shape no rips or tears, single DIN radio, heat/ac works, LED lights all around, wipers, blinkers, lights, gauges & 4WD works. Truck is all metal-incl pics of a magnet in all the crucial locations to show the truck is all metal, no filler. Underneath is in excellent shape also, pics incl. Odometer shows 135,000 miles. Paint is in real good shape. The engine upgrades are Eddelbrock carb,headers and after market exhaust. Air cleaner and valve covers possibly.
Truck rides & drives straight, only neg. is slight oil leak, unsure were it"s coming from. I don"t know if you can find a nicer Ramcharger for its age. A couple of minor things that are worth mentioning are: Rear hatch door hard to shut, have to slam it, drivers window channel sounds loose in door, the headers or exhaust have a slight leak up front, the left dash indicator light is out - that would be the green arrow for the turn signal. Other then those, the only other issue would be weather stripping around doors and windows should be replaced. You hear wind noise and they leak a little, probably original but easily obtainable in the after market. All in all an awesome 1985 Ramcharger. These trucks are on the rise in value and collectability, just check out other prices for them. The tires and wheels have less than 200 miles on them. I know my son paid a lot for those alone. Just add up the cost of the wheels and tires, the winch and bumper, the safari rack and the ceramic tint alone and you know this is a great deal. I do know that you cant drive it anywhere without someone saying something or taking pics of it. This truck is being sold as is of course.
