1984 Volkswagen Vanagon Gl. A few small dents and dings but otherwise this van is pretty straight. 99% rust free. It recently overheated and I had the head gasket replaced. It runs great but then has a hard time starting back up after it is turned off. The mechanic was not very familiar with VWs, so this wasn"t in my favor. I also just had new hankook tires put on the van. They have less than 100 miles on them. The van was not my daily driver and wasn"t driven often. The interior is pretty original and clean, although someone removed the stock radio. The carpet on the floor in the middle of the van has a tear and a few holes, but would be an easy fix for an upholsterer. The wiper lever broke inside of the steering column. . meaning the wipers stay on unless you take out the fuse like i did:( The upholstery is probably a 7-8 out of 10. It has a rear break light out, a rear tail light and turn signal light out.) I haven"t had this van registered for a while, but when I did, This van drove smooth and always got looks, waves and honks wether you"re into it or not. :) . Low book on this van is just over 5900, avg. is around 10k, and high is over 18K. The 1984 has more horsepower than the previous year and is water cooled. Sadly, Medical bills and business closure force sale. . Gotta get my life together and start growing some dope or something.
