The VW Double Cabs were made for work and passenger transport as well , but this one never wanted to work hard , it was always kept in the garage until it received the care it deserved , and 2 years ago it was completely painted in diamond blue color and she was more beautiful than ever, now she is looking for a new dodo so i can enjoy her retirement.
This Type II double cab version was manufactured in 1984 in the air cooler version, and it is increasingly difficult to find and should become a collector"s item, for this reason prices are constantly rising all over the world. Below are some details of this beautiful truck the front suspension uses a 2-inch drop axle, keeping the car super comfortable as the original and sporty look. 2 inch lowered rear suspension.
This year it uses front disc brakes and rear drum, dual line master cylinder and improved braking compared to the old system which had 4 drum brakes.
It comes equipped with a 1,600 air-cooled engine, healthy and working perfectly, it is equipped with double carbs, not all of them left the factory like that.
The transmission was kept original because despite having 4 speeds it is very resistant and has low maintenance .
The Fuchs Porsche 17x7 wheels and radial tires that made this lady look pretty much more stable than the original 14-rim model. New Type 2 chrome bumpers
For fresh air on sunny days or late afternoons , there is a soft sliding roof that is beautiful and works great .
The interior is fully lined with high quality eco leather in red that contrasts with its beautiful blue paintwork.
The front seat was made especially for this one-piece project, very comfortable and also lined with 2-tone eco-leather.
the bed is perfect and has chrome locks and all the whimsy, as it should be, and finished in wood for protection, even knowing that the most you should carry in it are suitcases, a surfboard or your favorite bike. for sure this truck will break everyone"s neck while parading anywhere and will become your new adventure partner.
the vehicle is available for inspection in Pompano Beach, Florida. is in perfect condition, but will be sold "as is"
the title will be issued directly in the buyer"s name, 7% of Florida state taxes are levied on the sale value of the vehicle.
