1984 Land Rover Defender 110 This 1984 Defender Double Cab right hand drive has undergone extensive work both aesthetically and mechanically/structurally. This Defender was imported from the UK and it abides by all customs regulations and has the original matching VIN numbers. It is already registered and titled in the United States in the state of Kansas in Johnson County. VIN of the car is; SALLDHMV1AA217811. Ebay doesn"t accept European VIN, that"s why the VIN isn’t entered correctly above. Correct VIN of the car is the one here which matches the VIN on the engine and chassis per customs requirements. During the extensive restoration, the vehicle was taken down for chassis repair and paint/body work and then built back up. Please see photos of the process. Title Kansas, Johnson County VIN SALLDHMV1AA217811 Chassis and Structure Repair Chassis was thoroughly inspected and repaired. A full new rear cross member with long extensions was fitted. We ensured the chassis VIN was preserved during this process. A full shultz underseal completed the process to ensure long term protection.
This process is more time consuming and more expensive than using a replacement chassis but it retains the original chassis VIN and the result is a very structurally strong reliable chassis. The foot well on the passenger side was completely replaced during this process as well as new top bulkhead panels on both sides. Body
The body was professionally painted in a beautiful metallic Gray color that looks amazing with the new black chequer plate installed on the bonnet, wing tops, sills, a panels and rear corners. Please see photos. Numerous additional photos available. Major dents and body imperfections were repaired before painting to ensure a smooth body finish. There is a small chip in the paint on the rear door on the passenger side. I reduced the price from the original asking price of 75K to compensate for this so it can be repaired if the buyer chooses to do so.
