Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 1984 Jeep CJ7 is an original. The owner has had it for 4 years. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes To my knowledge, here’s a list of items that don’t work and/or known issues: Crack on right side of dash pad (see pics) Right turn signal doesn’t cancel Cruise control doesn’t work Oil pressure gauge doesn’t work Spare tire holder is dented towards tailgate and tailgate has some damage (was probably rear ended enough to cause the damage during its life). See pics. Both spare tire holder and tailgate function properly. Cracks in interior of hard doors beneath vent windows. See pics Windshield washer fluid sprayer doesn’t function Some surface rust on hood, right side below antennae, and driver side floor - see pics Jeep is being sold AS IS - WHERE IS and with NO WARRANTY Vehicle Details 1984 AMC Jeep CJ7 Laredo. In-line 6 Cylinder, 258 Cubic Inch Engine with 5 Speed Manual Transmission. 4 Wheel Drive Head-turning and fun weekend driving Jeep that I have owned for almost 4 years. Always garage kept during my ownership. Has never left me stranded. I put less then 5000 miles on it during my nearly 4 year ownership. Drives well. Will easily do 65mph on the highway. .but it’s a Jeep and with no doors and no top. .it gets windy at that speed. Everything I indicate in this ad is information to the best of my knowledge. Please note - I am not the original owner and have no information regarding the Jeep prior to my purchase in 2017. If you want to google the VIN number, you can see and ad where it was auctioned/sold sometime in 2016. That ad indicated it was a one-owner Jeep from Nevada. I believe it was then purchased by City of Cars (a Michigan Dealer). .which is who I purchased it from in 2017 and had it shipped to me in Birmingham, AL. The Jeep has the original carburetor. .so takes a few seconds to turn over while cranking after sitting for several days or weeks. .but always cranks. Cranks nearly immediately if driven that day. I get looks and comments nearly every place I drive it. It has the original paint. .although it is certainly not perfect. The interior is in good overall shape. I replaced the original factory radio. .which I still have and replaced it with a Retro Sounds Radio that has an Aux line that you can plug your IPhone into. I also replaced the front carpet. It has 4 brand new tires with less than 100 miles on them. It is a Laredo. .meaning it has a tachometer and analog clock - both work. It also has the original Lareado seats, although both seats are showing some wear. To my knowledge it also has it’s original Laredo wheels (including for the spare). Excellent patina on the wheels with little or no damage to any of them. It also has the original Laredo leather steering wheel and the original leather “oh crap” bar. Also has Laredo Chrome front and rear bumpers as well as mirrors. The Hard Top and doors are included and have some wear. See pics The Jeep drives well. I can’t tell you what has been done to the engine or transmission prior to my purchase. I have done very little other then scheduled oil changes. I had the carburetor adjusted, replaced an ignition coil, and had the heater repaired. Please Note - This is not a show Jeep - nor am I representing it as one. It is 36 years old and is mostly original which is extremely difficult to find. It does have diamond plate rear quarter panel covers - I can’t tell you why they were installed and whether or not they are covering some type of rust and/or issue. If you’re looking for an affordable mostly original 1980’s CJ Laredo Package that won’t break the bank. .this Jeep will not disappoint. Exterior Interior Download the Motors app
