1984 Ford F-150 Super-Cab 5.0 302 V-8 automatic overdrive transmission 3.55 Rear Axle Ratio and a 139" wheel base.
This is ONE OF 542 PRODUCED in 1984, Super-cab XLT 15" cast Aluminum rims 215/75 Firestone Destination A/T Tires, medium blue metallic paint, plaid/ dark blue cloth, captains chairs and rear forward facing bench vinyl seat with a paint matched toolbox. Originally equipped with a digital clock, Ammeter & Oil pressure gage, Cruise Control, Power Steering, Air Conditioning. This Ford F-150 was built in Kansas City, Kansas on February 2,1984. Sold to Cleburne Ford Texas on February 29,1984 - Dealership badge is still installed on the tailgate. Believed to be a two owner truck with just under 51000 original miles shown. This truck has a wonderful Texas Patina and tons of character, Very clean underbody and interior that"s proof its had a very easy life compared to the other trucks of its generation. The Truck was purchased form the estate of the late second owner in Itasca Texas. Selling with signed Texas Title, buyer will be the rightful third owner. It was transported to Indiana in inoperable condition on August 29,2021. Since its arrival in Indiana it has been mechanically refurbished into running and driving condition vehicle.
New mechanical parts include: Rear Fuel tank Sending unit Fuel lines/ fuel filter Remanufactured MotorCraft Carburetor New MotorCraft spark pugs Distributor Cap Rotor Ignition Coil Professionally resurfaced cylinder heads New intake and exhaust valves & springs Cylinder head gasket & bolts Intake manifold Valve cover gaskets. New headliner NOS center console with matching key Dash pad cover HVAC heater core. Truck runs and drives as stated above but still needs some fine tuning and tinkering around. Only been driven 100 miles since refurbishment. Air Conditioning appears to be complete needs converted to R134, all components are intact unknown if functional. Cruise Control is Missing linkage at the Carburetor, appears to be intact but unknown if functional. Windshield washer needs attention spray nozzle is missing an is not functional. Front fuel tank is not installed and not included as is the tank transfer mechanism that mounts to the frame rail both will need replaced. AM /FM Radio is intact but is very staticky - will tune in FM stations makes loud static noise when turning dials. Some driveline vibration around 30-35 MPH also the kick down shifter bar needs linkage tuning. Other then these issues I have been driving it around and it is a very fun and smooth ride! Excited for it to go to a appreciative new owner and get back to being enjoyed as it should be.
