Vehicle description
1 OWNER - OWNED BY A WOMAN Owner passed and the car is still great! She took care of it with servicing regularly. I have a history track of services along with all of her registrations etc. It"s in her Nordstrom bag along with a vintage empty Dune perfume in the glove box.
I SAVED THIS BMW 318iS A young man saw it on the driveway of the owners house. The owners sister had authority to sell it. (I have the court papers to show as well.) The young man wanted to race it! He took out the 318iS motor and put in a rebuilt 325e along with a 325 rear end and a G260 transmission. He could not put it all back together so I bought it to save it! He wanted to strip the interior and race it! I wish he never had touched it.
PROS All original exterior paint. No accidents. No rust. No broken windows. No broken lights. No broken grille. All trim is there. 3 extra mesh wheels in the trunk. All original interior. 99% perfect! Rebuilt 325e. 325 rear end. G260 transmission. Short Shifter. 2" Exhaust. Stage 2 clutch. K Sport adjustable coils. Low Miles. Service history track. Pink Slip was never signed or dated by the young man.
CONS Could use a clear coat on the paint. Could use some new tires. Needs the manual shifter bushings. (Can only drive in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th by really knowing how to shift.) It"s not the transmission. It"s the shifter bushings solely. About $50-100 in parts. Cracked Dashboard.
I got it running, however I do not drive it. Taking it to Bimmerfest on a trailer this weekend. First come first serve.
If you are within 50 miles, I will trailer to you. If you are further, you can pay me for the gas etc. or hire a car hauler deliver on your own.
