I bought this Alfa at an auction so I have no records. The engine cranks using the ignition switch with a battery installed but it is not running. I know it needs a fuel pump (I removed it and tested it) but it doesn"t fire when I use ether. I"m not adept at trouble shooting these! The body is straight and rust free (no hail damage which is common here) and the brakes are up. There is evidence of previous paint work. The hydraulic clutch is out (I have it disconnected, I started working on sourcing parts to get it going). The doors open and close and the windows go up and down. It rolls easily and steers and the tires hold air. I did discover there are issues with the steering rack which I suspect might have taken the car off the road years ago. I have a clean TX title in my name. The car will be sold minus the battery which was borrowed from another project. I installed a nice shift knob since I took these pictures. I also have the battery cover that goes in the trunk. The key for the gas cap has so far failed to work but I didn"t want to destroy the cap to get it off. I started to remove the fuel tank but didn"t get very far.
The odometer reads 54,336 and I"m guessing it must be accurate. I saw the title when I signed it and the car was owned by a local party since 1993. The interior is sun baked as you can see. I always wanted one of these. .but I can"t keep them all so this one needs a new home. This would be a great builder. Or maybe you have a wrecked runner?
