“THIS IS A 1983 928S EURO IMPORT!! EBAY WOULDN'T TAKE THE VIN BECAUSE IT IS A EUROPEAN IMPORT. THE VIN IS WP0ZZZ92ZDS841332. CLEAN CLEAR TITLE IN MY NAME IN HAND. Paint is newer but it is an economy driver quality job. You can see some overspray onto some black trim pieces in the photos and there are some drips near the wiper tray and under passenger mirror. Interior leather is sun damaged as pictured and dash is cracked. Steering wheel leather lacing is loose. Passenger power mirror inop. Sometimes the red warning light flashes for low voltage but my mechanic assures me there is nothing wrong that he can find. Fun old electronics! Occasionally the odometer gets stuck when you reset the trip meter. Hit the reset button a couple times and it fixes it. Mechanically the car is super strong! Runs and drives great!! Underside very clean! Very fast actually. The mechanic says the mechanics of the car are in very good order. I haven't seen any leaks, smoke, or anything at all.” |

Vehicle description
This 1983 Porsche 928S is a European-market example that was brought to Washington state and federalized in 1988. It is powered by a EURO Spec 300 Horsepower 4.7-liter V8 paired to a 4-speed automatic transaxle and benefits from $3,000 in maintenance performed in July 2017. Work included an A/C service along with a new timing belt and water pump. The car was ordered with rare sunroof delete. The service included a timing belt change, new water pump, new fuel pump, voltage regulator, and oil and filter change. An A/C service conducted at the same time included a new receiver, lines, and system flush. A multi-point inspection was also performed in July 2017 as can be seen in the gallery. The 928 Euro spec is quite a bit more fun to drive than the U.S. spec and more powerful. The car runs and drives very well! Driving it you would not know it was an older sports car. The suspension is tight, steering firm and tight, as well as the transmission shifts being quick and crisp. The motor revs very freely and has a nice rumble to it. A new stereo with remote, and new speakers were just installed as well and work as they should, along with power antenna. A new battery has been fitted as well during the last service above.
