Please read this entire description. I am selling my 1983 Jeep CJ7. This Jeep came from southern California 6 yrs ago. Sort of a "garage find". It had been sitting for a many years. I went through the Jeep mechanically.
New hoses, belts, water pump, filters, brakes etc. Wet sanded and buffed and polish trying to bring back the paint. It does looking better, but its no show Jeep.
This Jeep had a lot going for it. First off, it has the original body with no patches, no bono and no rust. I added the wheels and tires along with 2 new Bestop front seats. This Jeep has the stock suspension, no lift kit. The options on this Jeep are 1, Tilt steering wheel 2. Full gauges ( clock works only twice a day) 3, Power disc brakes 4, Delayed wipers 5, 5 Speed Transmission. 6, Air Condition 7, Cruise Control. 8, Power Steering 9, Fold down rear seat. With only 68,962 mileage this Jeep sits in a heated garage and does not get driven much. With the exception of the cruise control all other features work as they should. ( Gas, Temp, Tach, Blinkers, Backup lights, Inside courtesy lights, dash lights,,,, ALL GOOD) Cruise control is missing the electronic brain to make it work. (Mounted on drivers side inside fender is the cruise control bellows) All door locks work with the key. All gauges work, A/C blows ice cold air. This Jeep runs down the highway at 70mph with no problems. Shifts fine, brakes fine, steers fine. Just added a new Bestop top. Windshield glass was replaced with smoked safety glass. ( Looks Cool) Also comes with a full cover and a bikini top. I think I have described the Jeep as best as I can. Its not perfect for being 25 years old, but close.
