1983 GMC 2500 Factory V8 Diesel Truck with 4 Speed Automatic
Rare Truck
8 Foot Bed
Truck was white from the factory. I am the second owner. First owner had it painted red over 30 years ago.
The truck was running great until a little over a month ago when it stopped running while driving down the road.
I had the fuel filter changed and it ran again fine. Then it cut out while driving again. I had it towed to a diesel shop and they said the injection pump needs to be rebuilt. Owner before me said it was rebuilt 10 years ago. I just had the oil changed and a new mechanical pump put on and new ignition key switch install.
Solid truck not too much rust. Some on the rockers a little.
When the truck was running it drove down the road fine. Started and stopped fine as it should.
Great truck worth fixing. These sell for a lot all fixed up on eBay.
Truck has some dents and the plow on the front of the truck has been removed along with plow attachment brackets and the bumper was re installed to look factory. The front bumper is the same bumper you see in the pictures its far from perfect. None of the plow attachments or plow it self comes with the car. I do not have anymore.
I will work with your tow truck driver.
You must tow! I can not tow and you cant drive it home!
