Vehicle description
Super solid "82 Porsche 911 Targa project, that has been stored in a building for the last 21 years. As close to a barn find as you can get. VIN: WP0ZZZ91ZCS140441 (eBay wouldn"t recognize this, perhaps because it originated as a European car based on the Porsche VIN decoder) Previous owner removed the rollbar and back glass, and started to convert it to a Speedster. The rollbar is as far as he got, so the windshield wasn"t cut. It does have the speedster rear cover, but can also be put back to factory if you can find a rollbar to reinstall. It is currently in it"s "as-found" condition (dusty, partially disassembled). The fenders, doors, hood, and decklid . . , glass, etc have been removed (body panels are all in excellent shape, and there are boxes and boxes of most all removed parts). There are zero signs of any body damage/wrecks, and it is rust free! The car was originally white but has been repainted red, which is why the body panels were removed. Fenders and hood are in primer. Stock 915 5-speed transmission was rebuilt shortly before it was parked for the conversion. It was a running driving car at the time. The stock fuel injection was replaced with a Holley carb conversion kit in the mid "90"s before it was parked for the Speedster conversion. The engine still turns over easily by hand. I work out of town quite a bit, so I just don"t have time for a project. My loss is your gain. Working on obtaining the title, as the previous owner is searching through his large hoard of paperwork. ASSUME NO TITLE, but it very well could show up in the next couple of weeks. (I had to put something in the title field, but again. . no title unless I get lucky and come across it)
