| “1981 Fiat 124 Spider 2000, 2.0 DOHC, fuel injected, 5 speed manual trans, four wheel disc brakes, power windows, nice little Italian roadster. I recently took this car as partial payment on a TR6 I sold so I don't know that much about it, or Fiats in general, it came to ma after sitting in a garage for 5 years. I drained the fuel tank, replaced the battery and changed the oil and it fired right up, slight ticking in the top end, not sure if thats normal for this DOHC engine or a sticky valv, nut the motor runs strong, has good power and the 5 speed trans shifts nice and smooth through the gears and reverse. Body and paint are very nice driver quality, the interior is in very good condition and the car presents well, wheels and tires look to be in excellent condition. I've only put about 25 miles on it since getting it, drives nice, a few squeaks and rattles but nothing major that I could find. All lights, wipers, power windows and AM/FM CD player work properly, horn is intermittent.” |
