Vehicle Details Unusually clean and original 1981 Chevrolet Corvette. Fully optioned. Mostly original paint that shows quite well. Excellent leather interior, extremely well cared for by the current owner who has had it since 1988 when he bought it with 20,000 miles. This has factory glass roofs in perfect condition. You can tell by the finish on the aluminum wheel that this has been well cared for and always garaged. The car runs, steers, handles, and stops beautifully. It has great performance and feels tight. All the usual things have been done including new springs front and rear, shocks, brake calipers, exhaust and a fresh tune up with AC Delco plugs and Belden wires properly installed through original shielding and motor mounts like the factory did. Excellent Goodyear Eagle tires, new ball joints and other suspension components. I am listing this for a longtime family friend, now in his 70s, who rarely uses the car. He tells me he has extensive receipts/records which he kept over the 30+ years of ownership. The car has T top locks, It has a new passenger visor that has yet to be installed and the vanity glass is cracked on the original. I do see a slight oil leak from the front crankshaft seal in the timing cover. Looking from 6 to 8 inches away from the surface you can see checking in the original lacquer paint, mostly confined to the top areas. In spite of that the shine and texture look great for original paint. There are several small chips and touch up areas on door edge, dog leg, and front bumper peak. Both bumpers are original and *may* have been refinished previously, although it is difficult to say with certainty.Everything works as it should and the original R12 AC system does blow cold. I do have a lift and would welcome and encourage on site inspection by you or your representative.500.00 deposit and bank wire transfer. I can assist with shipping. One final note.
