Vehicle description
I have too many projects so I am going to letsomeone else be the caretaker of this car. This car is a survivor that hasnever been modified or restored. ThisZ28 was special ordered with pretty much every option available. No radio wasordered, the day after he took delivery he had a top of the line Kenwood headunit, Amps and Speakers installed which BTW all still work. The original ownersaved every piece of paper and receipt from day one. The Build Sheet, WindowSticker, Order sheet… too much to list. I noticed that the windshield had somemarks in it so I ordered a new date coded front windshield to replace the oldone, the tires are over 30 years old and in great shape, BUT… I would NOT trustthem for any high speed driving. The AC blows cold and it still has R12 in thesystem. I had the Radiator restored. The undercarriage is original but coulduse a good detail. 1981 was the first year Halogen Headlights became availablefrom GM, they are still on the car and they still work great. The car wasordered with the Deluxe Special Order Silver Interior which is still in prettygood condition, it still has the original floor mats. It has power windows, Powerdoor Locks, T-Tops, tilt wheel, reclining seatback, this car pretty much hasevery option available. The smog pump pulley was taken off, it is in the trunkalong with the old MAP sensor and the original water pump which I replaced, Theradiator hoses are all original and I think the fan belts are also original. The spark plugs and spark plug wires are also original to the car, the car runsgood and is firing on all 8 cylinders so I left them alone. I flushed themaster cylinder and brake lines and put in fresh brake fluid. The car runspretty good for what it is. I have the Factory GM Service Manual and Assembly Manual that goes with the car., My originalplan was to put the LS drivetrain in but this car is so nice I could not ingood conscious do the swap. If you want more details or pictures of anythinglet me know and I will gladly take them. I will gladly assist with the shippingbut the Buyer is responsible for all the shipping cost. The car is 40 years old so there is no warrantyexpressed or implied by the seller. The car will not be released to the buyer until all of the funds have cleared. Bid to own…
