Vehicle description
I had a black "81 Z28 when I was in high school, so when I saw this beauty - I just had to have her!
But. . I don"t have room in my garage and this car deserves to be in a conditioned environment. She has spent her entire life in a conditioned garage and I feel terrible keeping her under cover even in warm, sunny south Florida.
If you look at the photos, you will see the beautiful paint and custom interior. You can eat off of the undercarriage. The engine bay is nicely detailed and the glass is clear and clean. The engine cranks immediately and the transmission shifts smoothly with no noise from the rear end. I was told the drivetrain is numbers matching. I haven"t verified because who cares - these were mild horsepower cars and if I were to keep it, an LS1 would replace.
I gently scraped the passenger fender a few weeks ago (see photo) and it made me sick to my stomach. Very minor, but when you see the quality of the paint you will understand why I felt this way. You would not have noticed this if I had not told you! Tires are almost new and the Z28 wheels are gorgeous. All gauges and instrumentation work with the exception of the clock. The only thing I have done to the car is install dual exhaust after the photos were taken.
The previous owner was a Dealer and restored the car very nicely.
