Imported from the Australia under the 25 year rule is this 1989 Toyota Hilux 4 door, short bed, right hand drive diesel 5 speed. . truck is very rot free, frame is rock solid and only some surface on body from the Australian sun burning all the paint off. . has an old man emu lift kit, 33 good year MTR tires. Truck runs and drives, has a new battery. Needs exhaust donut/hangers and the injection pump leaks when it’s cold (the 4 rubber O rings on the side plates). Truck starts on half a turn, glow plugs work mint. Truck has AC and an aluminum radiator. I have the HS-7 and the Customs Bond release you’ll need for the DMV to title it a long with the other importation paperwork. I bought it from friend in CA who didn’t realize it was gonna be 10-15k to bring it into compliance/smog it. . if your state doesn’t have smog it’s irrelevant. Has 300k Kilometers. Have ARB front winch bumper for it too. Truck has scratches, dings/dents and paint is burnt/faded etc. . it’s not a show truck. Would make a great overland truck, rock crawler, wheeler, or candidate for a restoration. Please review photos carefully for the condition.
