Selling a beautiful 1980 Mercedes 300SD Turbo diesel sedanW116 body OM617 engine. This is the last year of this particular model. Runs and drives great! Transmission shifts VERY smooth and has plenty of pickup. Engine runs strong and smooth with good acceleration. Car has many new parts recently installed.
All windows, locks, and lights work. Good tires, starts right up. Paint and interior in very good for age. Minor blemishes are found on paint and interior but overall in very good condition for a 40 year old car. Minor blemish of paint found in the lower right rear area of back window, very small dent on hood and on passenger fender. Doors are solid, no rust. Floor pans are in excellent condition as well as for trunk area. Solid car and very nice to drive! Drives straight, no play in steering, Stops straight. Has factory block warmer. Comes with factory manuals, tools in trunk and two sets of keys. Clean and current title in hand. Tags good until 08/2021.
Recently, had the following serviced.
1. New motor mounts
2. New front and rear brakes.
3. All new vacuum lines.
4. New radiator cap.
5. New oil cap.
6. New valve cover gasket (valves adjusted)
7. All 4 new shifter bushings
8. New 3/2 valves
9. New Injector return lines.
10. Newer battery.
11. Newer injectors.
12. New filters (including all three fuel, transmission, and power steering)
13. Refurbished fuel sending unit. 14. New transmission modulator 15. New inner and outer tie rods 16. New center drag link
