For sale is our beloved "Ms. Landy"
Vehicle is a 1991 but is listed as a 1980 because ebay would not accept the VIN
She has been with us for 5 years now and has taken our family throughout the US and Europe. This is not a quick-build-and-flip Defender , she has been a part of the family and was painstakingly rebuilt with the idea she would stay with us forever. Of the items replaced, most were upgraded with high-quality parts in the process. If you pay attention to the details in the photos and description this will be immediately evident.
I have a copy of the V5 certificate (British title) as well as the Heritage Certificate and data sheet verification from the British Motor Heritage Trust, proving she is original. This Defender has also been legally imported and is currently licensed and registered in Washington State.

I am certain I will miss some of the work we have done, but a comprehensive list follows.

Exterior - New paint 1 year ago in original Portofino Red and Eggshell (off white) hood/wheels - New Masai rear door glass with defrost element - New front windshield - External wheel carrier - 5 BF Goodrich KO2 - 265/75 R16 - new last year with ~8000 miles driven on them - Full Brownchurch roof rack with ladder (can walk on) - New door handles - New door seals (all 5 doors) - Black Diamond plate on bonnet/wings/sills - gives additional strength and non-slip for walking on bonnet/wings (yes, they are rated for that)
Not so Goods - Rear wiper motor electrical fault - keeps blowing fuse, just have not had time to troubleshoot - Some small dents, scratches, and a couple of bubbles - it is a daily use vehicle and we have used it for its intended purpose (family adventure and fun) - paint is still 9/10 - The trailer electrics were cutoff at some point and I have not replaced it with an American setup (we have other tow vehicles)
