Vehicle description
Here is a sharp 1980 Shay Roadster reproduction of a 1930 Ford Model A Roadster. Only 12,400 miles on car. This is the Super-Deluxe Model and was the nicest model ever made. Sports a fiberglass body, 4-cylinder Pinto motor, modern hydraulic brakes, convertible and removeable soft-top and all lights work including turn signals and dual aoogah horns. This is a modern replica car that is a 1930 Model A Ford nly manufactured for 3 years from 1979-1981. Has a smooth automatic transmission and is a quiet great running and driving car. Has a repaired roof tear on passenger side. Roof is original to 1980.
Car is in very good shape. Great soft interior and rumble seat. The hood and rumble seat lids were repainted due to chips and are a slight shade off but blends well. Wipers don’t work but everything else does. Dual side-mount spares, duel horns and even the AM radio works. All fluids have been changed and car has been well-maintained. This car was at the inauguration of President Reagan in 1981 and still has the Capitol parking permission sticker from that event. Has a clear open title as well.
This is a very reliable car that starts every time and purrs like an original Model A Ford. Will easily do 70+ mph on roads and never fails to turn heads and get thumbs up from everyone. Winner to pay with cash, check or bank-wire. I can help load car as well. I need the space. Please ask any questions and I also have a couple videos of the car driving and a walk-around too. Located in Oswego, IL . Low reserve on car but these regularly go between $12 -$15K and this has the more sought after automatic tranmission was is more rare to find. VIN is not modern size so doesn"t understand that number.
