This Type II Bus has been extensively restored over the past 18 months. There are some items left to be completed but those have been purposefully left open for the buyer"s preference. Vehicle was purchased from a seller who stated it was a barn find. No rust, frame is in excellent condition and it runs great. It has current Texas registration and has passed State Inspection required of all road worthy vehicles. The following items have been completed: -Engine has been rebuilt: heads, pistons and rings replaced. -Carburetor replaced. -New Brakes -Exhaust -Repainted to original Sage Green and White in 2016 -New Battery -New Ignition switch and coil -New Headliner -New Upholstery and padding throughout -All door and side panels replaced with new panels throughout -Front Kick panels on hand, can be installed once radio is selected and installed -New Carpet throughout bus -All Door, Window, and engine seals and gaskets replaced -New door handles and window handles installed -New front and rear bumpers -New window washer reservoir and spray heads installed; new motorized version -All signal lenses replaced with new lenses and gaskets -All new tires -Pre wired for radio and speakers in the doors -Parts have been OEM when possible. -Many additional parts come with the bus -Vehicle cover for bus is included
