Vehicle description
Original rare Volkswagen super beetle convertible.
This was one of the last VW beetle convertible imported to the US in the final extended run.
It has not been driven in 15 years but has been moved. was stored in a barn until October of last year, when I had it transported to Point Reyes Station where it is now.
Now it needs to find a new home.
It is no longer in the California DMV system so no back fees, I have the original title.
Engine turns and has good compression.
Will run with fresh gas.
Has very little surface rust, Fenders are a little dented just as it was when I got it.
I purchased the bug from the original owner, and stored it for 15 years in a barn.
There is a rust hole in floor pan under the battery. frame and side rails have only surface rust.
Solid car.
I have the missing bumper and passenger seat both in storage.
Will run and drive with little work.
Top is nice canvas. The paint is dirty in the pics, but will clean up.
You will need to transport or tow it from Point Reyes Station in Marin County, Ca.
