Vehicle description
1979 WS6 Solar Gold Trans AM. I am the 2nd family/owner of this car in excellent “original” condition! Yes that’s the original paint and interior. This is a rare opportunity to buy a beautiful Solar Gold, low mileage (48k miles), everything works AC, AM/FM Cassette player, clock everything! This beauty came from factory with its 6,6 liter engine Olds 403 ci and automatic transmission. 79 is the last year of big engine and highly collectible. Deluxe Camel Tan interior, the paint is original factory paint code 50 solar gold is in excellent condition with very minor flaws for a 38 year old car. Working original radio on center console, the original 15 x8 snowflake wheels, trunk in excellent shape, car comes with ORIGINAL BUILD SHEET( have both the one from under the passenger seat as well as the one from behind the back seat, have not looked for the one on top of the gas tank but it should be there as well). This is a REALLY nice TA and won’t last! ! I have done a few need maintenance items to the car, new door/window weather stripping, water pump, H pipe dual exhaust, breaks and master cylinder, oil pan gasket, valve cover gaskets and head liner. I added factory power door locks and a NOS power trunk release and had an alarm installed with key fob remotes. The carpet under the front floor mats are worn otherwise looks good. I removed the old cloudy clear coat on the wheel rims but not on the wheel spokes (was afraid I might mess up the gold snowflakes) . The original Paint is in REALLY GREAT condition. With that said the spoiler on the lower font has chips/worn etc but overall it is really a Fantastically beautiful car! ! Never thought about liking Gold until this car and now I love it and get a ton of comments because there are so few this color and original on the road or at shows!
