Vehicle description

1979 Pontiac Trans Am, 6.6 liter olds 403, decent paint and body. Th-350 auto, power windows, door locks, intermittent wipers, ac, rear defrost and so on. The car has surface rust on the under carriage as the car is 40 years old. The odometer reads 53,823 and change. What"s really weird is that it came from the factory with black seat belts, I was told that is weird and rare for this model year. It even has the original cat converter. Clean title. The car hasn"t run for 2 years. The front right bumper has some damage on it and the windows seals leak and has typical mildew smell. The dash has 2 cracks in it and the passenger and driver door locks have trouble turning for some reason? It takes some effort to unlock the doors. I assume it"s because I didn"t open up the doors for a few years. The trunk is bone dry and has the original spare tire. It doesn"t start right now because it has old ethanol gas in it and oil. It"s been under a car cover since then. The car ran when I parked it, it didn"t break down or anything. I just parked it and never drove it again. At minimum it will need a fresh battery, oil and all the old gas out of it for her to run again which can"t be done in my apartment parking lot. You will have to tow it to get it out of here and shipping is all on you. It"s a 40 year old car so no warranty is offered or implied. It"s as is, where it is. I live in an apartment complex so working on it is against property rules. It really needs to go to a forever home. I have the entire weatherstripping kit and window sweeps which is a 500 dollar value. Feel free to ask any questions. The car is being listed on craigslist as well. Don"t waste my time by offering 3,000 dollars. I can"t tell you have many calls and texts I"ve gotten offering 2,000 to 3,000. Nada classic car guide has this at low retail for 27,250. I"m asking 6,500. A 500 dollar non refundable deposit via Paypal is required if you win the auction.
