Vehicle description
1979 Nissan 280ZX This was my father’s car that was purchased in January of 1979. It is has the automatic and not the 5 speed transmission. He drove it during the summers from the date of purchase through 1990 when he purchased a 300ZX. During that time he clocked 70,870 miles (which is accurate and original) which equates to about 7,000 miles per year. Since he purchased the 300ZX this car has been in storage (in doors) which is now going on 27 plus years. The car is stock with the exception of a Nissan aftermarket air conditioning system and cruise control. It does have some minor surface rust along the wheel wheels and a little curb rash on the front spoiler, which is repairable without replacement. Any “body blemish” is very easily repaired. The interior is in excellent condition with the exception of the head liner which will need to be resurfaced (seems the glue released the liner as it sat in storage). It has black carpet with black seats (both in excellent condition). Also the dash and all interior trim is in great condition. He always had sheep skin seat covers on both seat and hence why they look new. Considering how long it has been in storage the interior will need to be cleaned as it is a bit stale smelling. Overall if you are a 280ZX nut and are looking for a car “that can be stock concurs condition” with a little TLC this car can be it. I hate to see it go so I am looking for the right buyer as it has a great deal of sentimental value to me. THE PRICE IS FIRM so please be respectful as the right purchaser will understand its value. His 300ZX is also for sale. Same blue seems it was his favorite color.
