1979 MERCEDES 450SL This beautiful gray blue metallic (paint code 906) exterior with dark blue pinstripes and dark blue interior is a great color combo. This little “Roadster” has been very well maintained and serviced throughout it’s entire life. It has 71,667 miles on it. The factory service book shows the first service and lube was done at 702 miles on 11-22-78. All of the pages are in order going up to 64,722 miles on 9-24-87. It has only been driven 7,000 miles in the past 26 years. The first service was performed in Overland Park, Ks. and all of the rest in Tulsa, Ok. The previous owner believed he was the 3rd owner. This Mercedes is a southern car with solid body, rocker panels and floor and trunk pans (no rust). The windshield is original to the car and still retains the original Daimler sticker that was only available on the original glass. The following are brand new: · Soft Top · Tires · Complete Exhaust System · Shock Absorbers It is equipped with power steering, power brakes, power windows, power antenna, am-fm pioneer cassette player, air conditioning (blows cold) and heated seats. This was a nonsmokers car and you can tell it was some ones pride and joy. The trunk has the original spare wheel and tire with all of the jacking hardware. The first aid kit and all of the original manuals go with the car. Everything works as it should on the car and it runs and drives very nice. We look at all trades and invite independent inspections.
