In 1979 the Datsun 280 ZX was awarded the "Motor Trend" Import Car of the Year for its superior sportiness, comfort and value. Celebrating its 40th Anniversary, this is a unique coupe that turns heads and revives memories. Professionally restored from September 2017 to the present by dealership and specialty shops to original specifications, this "Z" has the following restoration points and more: Complete paint from Arlington Collision Center (BMW Dark Brown) Original replacement rear view mirror Replacement turning light lenses 4 new 14" tires (original spec) CAT delete new exhaust with new muffler New spark plugs, rotor, (2) injectors, fuel line, air flow box, valve adjustment, ECU New front struts New starter Electrical wiring work, including replacing any worn or corroded connectors Replace distributor Replaced seat covers, carpet and headliner with new, factory correct New rear hatch supports, gas dampened Datsun radio with cassette and antenna Replaced weatherstripping Replaced fuel lines Deep cleaned engine with BG Dynamic Engine Cleaner (machine - 45 minutes) Clean temperature controls - heat Balanced wheels and wheel alignment Clutch New rear brake pads; cut rotors.
