Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 1979 Chevrolet Monte Carlo is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle needs work and is not regularly driven. Seller"s Notes To be sold with factory wheels. As is. Comes with new car and all the moldings that I have. Vehicle Details This my 1979 Monte Carlo up for sale. I purchased this car from a local car collector/ lead mechanic who purchased it from the original owner. While in the mechanics care the car was given some routine maintenance and it was being driven. However, after getting it running it sat for about 8 years. I puchased the car about 1 year ago to restore but I purchased another car and never started on this one. I really dont want to sell but I dont see myself getting to it any time soon. I am also not sure what direction to take because I started to really like the Natural Patina on the car. Aside from a few rust through spots due to the Landau top (see pics)this car is as solid as it gets for a 1979 unrestored Monte Carlo. This is my list of good and bad about the car. The Bad -Due to sitting starts but will need a carb ( I purchased a new carb and a old one that goes with car. -Car needs interior work -Car will need new tires The Good -I HAVE ORIGINAL TITLE! ! -Car has a Natural Patina. My plan was to redo the top and interior and clear the patina -All of the parts are there (unmolested) -exact model car from Training Day -still has the hard to find front side marker lenses - All glass is good - I have almost all of the lower body moldings Please click link for a walk around video that was recorded on 8/30/21 https:/ youtu.be/xG0ZAerW3LM This car is a solid canvas for any direction that you would like to go. It can be very cool "Patina Carlo", restored back to original, restomoded, LS swapped, big blocked, small blocked, or even made into a Training Day tribute on hydros! Car is a very solid car that has been in Alabama for its whole life. If you are interested in this classic please do not hesitate. If you like patina you will be hard pressed to find another one with natural latina like this one. (CAR WILL BE SOLD WITH THE FACTORY WHEELS AND NOT THE GUN METAL GRAY TORQ THRUST) Thanks for viewing my post and good luck! Exterior Holes are from the vinyl top. This is a Landau Edition.
