Offered here is clean, extremely LOW-MILEAGE, two-owner 1979 Chevrolet Corvette T-Top Coupe. Our client purchased this Corvette on April 1st, 1994 for his wife’s birthday from the first owner, Gordon Weber, with 29.450 miles on it. Mr. Weber, a local construction company owner, purchased the car brand new from Joslin Chevrolet Inc. of Traverse City, Michigan. Weber’s daughter was turning 16 in a few months and he couldn’t envision her driving it, which is why he put it up fro sale. The car remains 100-percent original today. It has under 53.000 original miles and has been babied it’s whole life. It comes with ALL original documentation including all manuals, booklets, and even the original window sticker.
The car has always been stored in an indoor, climate controlled environment and has never been driven in the snow. Of the 53,807 Corvette’s produced in 1979, only 1,913 of them were made with a Red exterior over a Red interior, making this Corvette even more rare. The car has never been painted. Everything remains original, except the power radio antenna, battery, tires, and wipers have been replaced. Everything also works as it should, including the power windows, radio, and AC. The powerplant starts, runs, and drives exceptionally well. The car also comes with removable T-Tops, cover bags for T-Tops, original keys, and armrest pad.
