Up or sale a very beautiful ’79 Red Corvette.
This Corvette has original paint that is in good overall condition. Paint still shows well for being almost 40 years old. Both bumpers are in great shape with no flaking or fading paint. The tires are correctly sized 225/70/15. The wheels are OEM originals and in good condition with no curb rash. The highly sought after Mirror T-Tops are in fantastic condition and come on and off nicely and fit snug and do not rattle while driving. These Glass Tops give much needed headroom especially for taller people. All glass is “LOF” original glass and in good shape.
The Red leather interior of this Corvette is in nice original condition . The seats are original and in good condition with no major rips, stains, or seam splits. The steering wheel is original and correct for this year Corvette with a standard column. The carpet is in good original condition with no major stains, rips, or holes outside of the area under and around the drivers mat, which has some wear, but is covered up mostly by the floor mat. The original floor mats come with the car and both are in good condition. The original dash is in great condition with no cracks, fading or warping, and the dash bezel is in great condition as well. The stereo has been updated to a modern Sony cd player with new JBL rear speakers. The original door panels are in excellent condition with no major wear and both door pulls are solid and in tact. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should outside of the clock.
The 350 engine is very correct and runs well. This Corvette is a good driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs great. The clutch shifts nice and smooth and the original 4 Speed transmission works properly. The exhaust is like the factory set up and still retains the original catalytic converter. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed . Happy bidding!
