Vehicle description
1979 Chevrolet Corvette L82 Numbers Matching Engine
Let me start off by saying this is my third C3 I have owned and by far the best driving. I"m selling this little beauty because I just bought a 73 Corvette Big Block 4 Spd car.
This car has been gone through from front to back and many components replaced in the past few years.
The entire steering system including power steering unit is new. The car has no steering play. The Car steers true, firm and is very smooth. The brake system was replaced from rotor to Master cylinder about one year ago. Every steering component was replaced. The 4 wheel discs are very responsive and strong. The car stops on a dime and doesn"t pull left or right. The brake pedal feels nice and firm just like it should. The transmission was rebuilt and feels tight and shifts crisp through every gear. The rear monoleaf and all shocks/springs were replaced when the brake system was done. The vacuum cans on the pop up headlights are brand new along with all the vacuum lines that feed the system. Everything works as it should except for the power locks. I am not sure what the issue is but they both went out at the same time. The paint is very nice but not perfect. The paint is 8 years old but was always garage kept. It has normal rock chips and a few small cracks in the nose (see last picture). The paint shows very nice and looks glossy. There is no fading or clear coat damage anywhere. The tires are all new and the Kelleys give it a tough stance. The motor runs very strong. The original L82 motor was pulled out when the car was painted and the motor was refreshed. All the smog components were removed and a Holley 650 carburetor was installed. The L82 engine pulls hard and sounds great. The car doesn’t need anything and is ready to cruise. This is a great Stingray and will bring the new buyer years of great memories.
I have a few videos of the car. A walk around, cold start and driving. They are available upon request.
I also have many more pictures of the car that I can send. Just let me know what you want to see.
If you have any questions or concerns please call Steve 502-938-5339
I have sold a few cars on Ebay over the past 5 years. My feedback reflects all happy buyers.
