Vehicle description
This BEAST of a car is waiting for an owner who wants a relatively small American Muscle Car project. The exterior is the only thing that I haven’t got around to doing yet, again. I’ve had the car for just over ten years, and had it painted black four years ago. When I bought it and it didn’t run, it was blue, and it had a crate engine from 1983 in it that had blown up. I’ve worked on it throughout the years while being in the military, with a big push in 2016. I painted it black in 2014, but it has acquired a few minor dings, and I’ve since applied a new hood and OER passenger front fender. Very minor panel adjustments need to be done, and very minor bodywork before paint. I was going to have it sprayed matte black, but figured I’d try selling it as is so the owner can coat it according to their liking. Everything else has been redone or replaced in this car. The list of updates includes: a 2016 Chevrolet 350/333hp High Octane Turn-Key Small Block V-8 Engine with performance starter. Holley Performance Carburetor. The Original 350 Turbo Hydramatic transmission was completely rebuilt with a torque converter custom built for this engine. New brake master cylinder, brakes are currently at 75% (per Les Schwab). New windshield, left, and right windows. New upper and lower front grille inserts. Champion Cooling aluminum radiator with dual electric fans with flex seal. 15X7.5 aluminum front wheels and 15X10 rears all with BF Goodrich tires (3 years old with 90% tread life). Replaced front and rear shock absorbers (rears are air-ride). Hedman headers, dual Flowmaster exhaust with turn downs just behind the rear wheels. Completely new A/C system. New heater core. Replaced the gas tank three years ago and new fuel lines. New interior updates that include: racing driver and passenger seats with lumbar support and Corbeau Racing 4-point harnesses (DOT rated). New carbon fiber gauge panel with new Auto Meter gauges and speedometer cable. New center console. Grant GT racing steering wheel with new horns upper and lower. Kenwood CD player with USB access, (2) Pioneer 6X9 speakers in rear package tray, which has also been redone. Rear seats have been reupholstered in leather. New carpet. New door panels with arm rests. New side mirrors. 2.75” Summit Racing cowl hood. Xenon headlamps (high & low). New rear light assemblies. And the list goes on. 3,021 original miles with a clean title. Serious offers only. The engine and transmission alone without install alone are $10k, so please no insulting low-ball offers. I have EVERY receipt for the buyer, and warrantee info on hand. This car is almost 40 years old, it’s been garaged for ten years—and it’s not a Hyundai. I’m selling it because I need more room in the garage and can’t seem to finish this project, and it’s a shame. If you want it, contact me. It turns heads like you wouldn’t believe, and it sounds like America when you mash the throttle. Shake-N-Bake!
