Vehicle description
Clean Dry California Camper Bus- no rust- never seen the snow and salt. Up for sale is my 1978 vw hi top bus adventure wagon, all original, clean title in my name Has a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder air cooled type 4 motor, runs great, has plenty of pep, no leaks, doesn"t burn oil, sounds healthy Has a 4 speed transmission that shifts smooth, clutch engages correctly, steering is tight, smooth and goes down the road straight, brakes are good, ( when I had my tires changed last month the tech said front pads are at 70%)
If you google vw bus adventure wagon brochure, you will see some great info on the company and specs, linoleum floor, hardwood interior, queen size sofa bed, kid bunk up top, quality fiberglass top etc. it is a well built comfortable quality camper that was top of the line,
The front seats are original and the bottoms show some wear, I have seat covers on them, front windshield has a crack, bus has been re sprayed with matching date nut brown and fox red, pinstripes were redone as well, looks decent not perfect and if I was critical its a 15 footer paint job, but looks way better than it did, bodies straight and no rust or huge dents so that"s a plus.
Recently replaced parts include- New tires Fuel filter Oil change Battery
wiper blades Drivers side quarter panel and battery tray Turn signal switch and relay Exhaust manifold gasket Drivers side window regulator
All in all its a good shape camper with solid bones, refrigerator works, 2 burner stove, all the windows roll up, keys work in the locks, has a lot of storage, and a 6 foot person can stand up comfortably in it. If you have any questions or would like to chat, send me an email, I have a lot more photos, can take a video of it running and driving.
