Vehicle description

Sorry for the 1974 reference. This is a Well-Kept 1978 SPITFIRE - NOT a 74 MGB available as separate sale - template duplicated. This car was purchased as a female-owned and driven car, less than 49999 miles and restored as rolling restoration - thanks for pointing out the template duplicate error. Car is available for test-driving or inspection in South Asheville any time (NC).
1978 Triumph Spitfire RESTORED with Overdrive, Leather Seats (heated in winter), soft and hard tops, Nardi Steering Wheel Upgrade, SuperCharger, Woman-Owned and procured with 49,000 miles, we began to restore this amazing beauty with care from head to toe, engine, overdrive transmission, suspension, paint, interior, for an off-the-showroom-floor experience and feel. Balanced engine with ported and polished head, new components, electronic ignition, SuperCharger - this vehicle was featured in the Spitfire-GT6 Magazine for its SuperCharger installation. Peppy, great-handling, absolutely fun ride - THIS is what Triumph intended for us to experience. Come drive it ! We"re in South Asheville NC. No rust. Looks and drives like you are living in 1978. On Jul-05-20 at 17:45:06 PDT, seller added the following information: Additional Photos Available from the most Recent Annual Car Show here - sunny day, 5 photos available On Jul-07-20 at 15:07:00 PDT, seller added the following information: Hi there,
The Supercharger works well - it makes the sportscar experience what it was supposed to be, so a bit more low end torque and high end torque, never had anything done to it or any repairs. I"ve not thought about it since it was installed (probably 5 years ago before the rebuild of the engine and transmission / carburetor(s). Bennett French, local proprietor, made a series for a while for the TR6 and the Spitfire and wanted to grow that business, but ultimately did not - he restores rare cars, is local. The paint on a scale of 1 to 10 would be a 10 if 10 is the highest - it looks as if it was just painted, it stays in a storage unit unless driven on occasions, and won Best Spitfire and 2nd Best Triumph in the local Autumn in the Mountains annual car show by vote, behind a pretty immaculate Red TR3. I could probably find the photos from that day if needed - bright sunny day. I can check with the body shop that does all our body work, I believe it was painted 2-3 years ago, head to toe. If you have any other questions, you can reach me via or via the email attached to the account dsnider506@gmail.com if you want more photos. I will attempt to attach some of them here
Gratefully yours, Dave Snider mob
