Super clean 1978 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ40
"B" series Diesel motor, 3.0L inline 4 cylinder. Recently imported from Costa Rica. Fully restored in 2015 using genuine Toyota parts. Second owner, 89800 actual kilometers. Runs strong and drives like a new Land Cruiser 70+ MPH, new 31x10.5x15 tires, shocks, bushings, springs, 15" wheels, all new stainless steel body bolts, new window seals. Convertible, Removable top!
Rebuilt engine and transmission ready for another 500k miles. New starter. New belts and hoses. New radiator. New battery. Brake system has been serviced, new drum brakes, new master cylinder + brake booster, clutch master + slave cylinder. Manual steering
Has Pioneer sound system and nicely hidden speakers, AM/FM/AUX/CD!
The horn, wipers, speedometer, choke, interior and exterior lighting, park lights, turn signal indicators, all work.
Will come with new Toyota instrument cluster, will include original in a box.
The transfer case engages with ease into 2HI, 4HI & 4LO modes with ease.
Originally Mustard Yellow. Recently painted OEM Toyota " Sun Fusion Yellow " which is a 2012 FJ Cruiser color. All interior & exterior body bolts are new stainless steel.
Glass polished in excellent shape. New black leather interior, correct rear jump seats complete with straps, new headliner.
