VERY RARE ! 1978 GMC SHORT WHEEL BASE STEPSIDE . . FACTORY Z-77 OPTION " STREET COUPE " PACKAGE . Oklahoma truck since new . The odometer shows 87k miles and I was told by the previous owner that the miles were correct . Original 350 4bbl v-8 engine which has new plugs , wires, distributor, hoses, professionally rebuilt original quadrajet carb, new alternator, new starter, new belts, new radiator, new A/C compressor, new A/C condenser, new A/C evaporator, new A/C lines and hoses, new A/C drier . New wiper motor, new wipers, new fan motor. . All new brakes which include front rotors, calipers, pads and brake lines, new rear drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, new brake booster, new master cylinder. . The transmission is original and works great . New dual exhaust system with flowmaster mufflers. . This truck runs, drives and sounds great . New door felts and channel runs, new carpet, new dash pad, new headliner, new restored factory bench seat using nos original G.M. material, new door panels, new lower door carpet, new front windshield, both power window regulators were removed , cleaned and lubed . . The power windows and locks work great , factory tachometer and all gauges works like they should. The cruise control does not work . I just have not had the time to mess with it .
The body is mostly original paint . It looks as though some parts of the truck has been repainted years ago . Bed floor is new with new wood, new strips and new hardware . The truck is lowered 2 -4 with new shocks . New Cooper 275/60 tires mounted on restored 8" factory rally wheels .
