About this vehicle This 1978 Ford F250 is a modified vehicle. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great. Vehicle Details 1978 Ford F-250 Ranger, 4x4, 390 fe motor, 4 spd manual trans., Rebuilt Diff. W 3.73 gears, twin 34 gal tanks. NP 205 transfer case. 80k miles on the clock. New shocks, wheels, tires, and exhaust. The charging system is all new (battery, alternator, wiring, solenoid, voltage regulator). The low mile 390 motor is not original to the truck, but it has been recently revamped (new carb, inspected, painted and resealed). I own many dentside fords and this one is the only truck that has not dropped one drip of oil on the floor. It runs and drives like a dream. The truck was recently driven 2,200 miles from California to Texas by the previous owner without a hiccup. The body is a rust free, dry California born truck that was repainted to Wimbledon white back it the 80s. It’s a terrific paint job for that era. The paint does have chips as expected for its age, but shows very well. One ding is present near the passenger side rear wheel well. Paint is also chipping off in the same area over the bed compartment. My price reflects the current market, which I follow very closely. The price is negotiable to a reasonable point. If you are looking for one of these trucks, you will not find one on the East Coast in this dry condition unless it’s been fully restored. This truck does have a clear and free Cali title.
