RESERVE HAS BEEN REMOVED! 1978 Ford Bronco XLT. Runs and drives great. This is 40 years old and I don’t want to mislead anybody. This is not a show quality vehicle, but is a very good base for a restoration. Or drive it as it is like I do. There will be things that come up that will need to be fixed, again it is 40years old. This is being sold AS IS no warranty. 500.00$ deposit within 24hrs of auction ending. The remainder of payment/ purchase price due within 3 days of auction ending. I have been driving this almost daily without issue. With a little bit of work you could make this already good looking rig look great! 351m, Manual 4 speed. Drives and shifts fine. I’m on the highway daily with it doing 55mph no problem. 4x4 works perfect. Pros of engine- Has a new water pump, new power steering pump, edelbrock carb, new power steering belt, new thermostat, fresh oil and coolant in last 30 days, fresh tune up, new distributor and new vacuum advance. Cons- Slow power steering leak , and exhaust needs to be mounted near the back. The body is pretty straight with a few dings/dents here and there from normal use. The largest dent is pictured (passenger rear corner and some to the tailgate and bumper) very fixable. And a small hole in the top on the drivers side upper corner (pictured) the rest of the body appears to have original paint and normal wear and tear of a 40 year old vehicle. 32 inch tires on 15inch rims. New rear brake shoes and linkage, new rear center brake hose, new driver side front brake hose, needs parking brake cable. The interior is in good shape. The dash has AC vents but no AC on the truck. Heater blower motor Whines but does work. Rear seat is in good condition, passenger seat in good condition, all linkage for seats and they work as they should. Driver seat has some use and tears as pictured. Headliner is in good condition. Rear floor is solid, I did cut a fuel pump access panel when I put in a brand new fuel tank. Both rear panels are there and in good shape. Rear window works from dash and key, it is slow up and down. Dash was cut for aftermarket CD player. Runs at temp fine, oil pressure about 50 on start up. Floors feel solid, I haven’t pulled carpet. From underneath they also appear to be solid. This Bronco is a great start for restoration or as a daily driver. This thing is solid! I am not the original owner and I do not know all history on the vehicle. Things will come up that need to be fixed, as I have done as they arise. this has really been a great running vehicle for me, needed some maintenance and that’s about it.
