LOW MILEAGE ( 27700 miles) 1978 308 GTS with removable spyder top. In fine original condition. Classic red with tan interiors. This California car has been well maintained. Second owner.
ORIGINAL PAINT! This was the next to the last year for the carbureted 308- - it is FAST and FUN to drive! California licensed and regularly driven. Last tune up at 23,500 miles and last major service at 17,500 miles by Newport Beach Ferrari experts. Cam belts changed, Valves timed, Cam seals etc at 17561 miles (1997). No rust and no accidents. Includes nearly new (less than 300 miles), Michelin XWX tires with plenty of tread, original jack kit, tool kit, and original owner’s manual, service records, workshop manual, and service and warrantee brochures. Even the radio manuals are present.
The original paint is nice. Two small dings on the driver side front quarter panel; small stone chips on the front air dam. There are small paint cracks in the door air scoop areas and a few minor touch- ups. The air conditioning compressor has been removed and stored. Fresh rear axle boot and water pump and battery. Great clutch, brakes, gearbox and drive-train! This car has spent its life in the mild and dry climate of Southern California. Car looks, runs, and drives fine.
Early V8 Ferrari’s offer a wonderful driving experience with reasonable costs. This 308 comes with manuals and documentation. The later tan leather interior is in very good condition, with a nice patina and little wear. The carpets are in excellent shape. The engine runs very well, has very good power and torque. The 5-speed transmission shifts well, and the clutch and brakes are excellent. All gauges work, windows work, pop-up headlights all in fine working order. Has clear California title.
