She is equipped with the 5.7-liter engine mated to a TH 400 transmission. She is also equipped with the desirable and rare sunroof. The speedometer was replaced at 54,000 miles – now showing 56,XXX. The previous owner stated that the fuel injection rails have been replaced as well as both fuel pumps. She has been repainted a darker Cadillac colt and the interior is upholstered in Antique Saddle Sierra Grain leather, making for an attraction and pleasing color combination. The Cadillac Seville, introduced for the 1976 model year, was acclaimed as Cadillac’s first “international sized” luxury cars. Cadillac’s traditional customers began gravitating towards foreign competitors such as Mercedes and BMW post 1974 OPEC oil embargo, and the Seville was conceived in response to these new challenges. Despite its hefty base price of $14,710 (only a Fleetwood limousine cost more in 1978) buyers queued up in large numbers for the first-generation Seville, thus assuring its place as an American milestone automobile. Please call Rosario @ 717-319-1536. To paraphrase The Whispers’ 1978 song (Olivia) Lost and Turned Out, like the wolf in nice clothing, don’t you want a new Seville? https:/ youtu.be/ljLWLwlyF_I Exterior The exterior presents extremely well, with minor blemishes noted. The paint code (69) indicates Ruidoso Saddle was the original color. The previous owner told me that the repaint was not done in the original color but is a Cadillac color. Interior The Antique Medium Saddle interior presents well with some wear and tear expected from a 43 year old car. The air conditioning works with the original R12 refrigerant. However, the fan is currently not working. The cruise control doesn’t work, but the power antenna, windows, door locks and sunroof operate as they should. I installed an NOS trunk pull down switch but it needs more work. Engine The previous owner (a retired Cadillac dealership service manager) had both fuel pumps and fuel injection rails replaced. The underside is in excellent condition as would be expected of a California car. Download the Motors app
