Relisting this 1978 Alfa Romeo Spider due to a scammer winning the auction. I am only asking $3100 as this is what I have put into it and really just need to move it out of the garage before winter. Hence the quick auction time. This Spider is extremely solid and ready for the next owner to finish a few things to make it a great driver. Car has new alternator, battery, all new fuel filters (including the Spica pump filter), new plugs, replacement wires, new rear exhaust, newer carpets installed. New speedo cable, electronic distributor, exhaust hangers also included (not installed). The car has a Marelli Plex ignition however it is showing its age of 30+ years and that is the reason for the replacement distributor. Car needs timing work and the replacement distributor will help in the fine tuning. The interior is very presentable. Body wise the car is very very solid. There is a spot of rust bubbles on the front passenger quarter panel (see photos), and the spare tire well in the trunk needs a patch. The floor pans are solid as is the rest of the car. The spider needs brake pads and rotors, and some general fine tuning to get it back on the road. This is a great car that needs someone to finish it. I will include a spare engine (block, head, oil pan, crank, and pistons) with the sale of the car. There is no warranty expressed or implied.
