1977 Toyota Celica GT Fastback Rare Liftback Body Style Non-Op Roller Project Clear Title in Hand Sold As-Is
Call Tim at with any questions. Clear title in hand. This is a rare vintage Toyota Celica GT Hatchback, otherwise known as a fastback body style. This car was parked 20+ years ago when the starter went out. The starter is still bad, but I have verified that the engine spins freely. It also looks complete and unmolested under the hood, so I would bet that it will run again. Other options include the rare Automatic transmission.
Original paint code is 128, decodes to Silver Metallic. Currently has multiple repaints, some rust, etc. Assume the worst and be pleasantly surprised. I"ve priced the car to sell, and don"t want to take a bunch of additional pictures. Please enlarge the pictures and see for yourself what is there.
The interior is still original in black. Gauges look nice, console is in nice condition, nothing appears to have been changed. The driver"s door is still frozen shut, soaking in penetrating oil. The passenger door does not latch securely. Both will probably free up with penetrating oil. The rear hatch operates as it should, but the lock cylinder needs a new key (lock assembly included). Clear title in hand, matches VIN exactly for inspection and export. While every effort has been made to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible, it is in fact a 40-year-old classic vehicle, and therefore being sold as-is, without warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied. Please keep in mind, while state-of-the-art in its’ day, this is a relatively primitive vehicle by modern driving standards, and used at that. . please expect minor issues that would commonly be associated with a well-maintained classic vehicle of this era.
