Vehicle description
This is a 1977 Mercedes 450 SL. The car was refinished the last time in 2011. My father-in-law purchased the car around 2014 and a year later backed it into a power pole bending the frame. The car when to a body shop and a mechanic, got fresh paint and some work done on the car but they did a crap job at it if I"m being honest. Looking at the vehicle from the back, you can see that the right corner droops. It ran as recently as 6 months ago but the fuel distributor was disassembled at the shop and is now broken and cannot be repaired. Can"t tell you if there is anything else mechanically wrong for certain but I do not believe there is. I drove it myself about a year ago moving it from one shop to another. I also have the hard top that comes with the vehicle. I would like to get this car out of my hair as soon as possible. It"s been a thorn in my side ever since my father-in-law wrecked it and I need it gone. Since it does not start, it will have to be towed.
