Freshly imported and available now in Virginia. 1977 Land Rover 88 Santana. Fresh Gasmere green paint over black vinyl interior. 2.25L four-cylinder diesel mated to a four-speed transmission and high/low transfer case. Currently configured to seat seven, with three across the front, and four in the rear opposed-facing jump seats.
Driveline : 2.25L 4-cylinder diesel motor mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. Truck works through the gears easily, and cruises easily around 45mph up in 4th gear. Transfer case engages easily to shift to low-range. The motor and transmission configuration in these vehicles translates to a top speed of around 45mph.
Exterior : Grasmere green paint was applied in late 2017 and presents nicely. Some overspray is evident but the truck presents beautifully as a driver-quality rig. For someone looking to bomb around town or the beach, it’s absolutely perfect. Body panels are straight and clean. Exmoore Trim canvas roof and hoop set are new as of 2017. Side panels are flat, with a single rear window in the rear.
Interior : Currently configured to seat 7, the interior is clean and straight. The three front seats are new, while the four rear-opposed jump seats are original to the truck and have a few tears in the upholstery. Hair ties and hats are recommended additions when running top-down or fully open.
