I"ve owned this truck since 1994 I bought it in Arizona that"s where it spent half of it"s life.The pictures show how solid the body is ,even the cab mounts are solid which as you know is a weak point on old Ford trucks of this vintage.The only real rust besides normal surface rust is the rear of the bed left side around the wheel (common) and on the right side a poor bondo job on what must have been a fender bender on that corner at a time before I owned the truck. I believe the engine to be a 400 cubic inch big block,all stock except for a Holley 4 barrel carburetor.The transmission is a C6 which has never given any trouble.Now the engine still runs fine but when it gets hot the oil pressure gets really low on the gauge so 5 years ago I stopped driving it,I have another good truck so I just stopped using this one.The point is you can"t fly in and drive this truck home,the engine needs to be rebuilt.You will have to have it towed on a trailer.I have 3 brand new tires mounted on correct rims that go with the truck.The windsheild was less then a year old when I decided to park the truck,but it has developed a 3 inch crack on one corner drivers side.the rest of the glass is fine. This truck is the camper special,has all the extra heavy duty stuff standard,It also has two fuel tanks and they both work.
