Vehicle description
The Bronco is a U15 model with the heavy duty towing package (higher GVWR). Since it is a 77 model (3rd to last production month), it has the D44 front, big bearing 9" out back, Dana 20 transfer case, C4 auto trans, and the 302. It came and has working power steering and power brakes.
This bronco was found in a field, with more rust in the body than one should restore. However, being a bronco fanatic, I started tearing this one apart to save (ugly pics below too). The passenger side has the worst rust damage, been cut out, and replaced with sheet metal from Toms Bronco Parts (best on the market).
The inside and outside were fully gone over, and replaced where needed. The factory hood was retained and shows signs of its age. This build was more of a 4x4 than street queen, but with a few touches, could be anything you wish. Want something better for your hunting lease than a RZR?
The body is fully bed-lined from a professional shop here in Houston. Clean up is a snap, just pressure wash!
The seats are originals to another 1977, with only 30k miles when pulled! !
