Ok, so here is the story! This car was used in our real estate business to shepherd high end clients wanting to view million dollar homes in Palm Springs, CA. We have changed our business model and we now sell mostly family homes in the valley. So this car has been garaged for years! Some time ago when we planned on taking it out, we discovered that mice had chewed the wiring! So our insurance paid to have it fixed by a shop that works on classic cars. They took many months to work on this and when we picked up our car we found out that it had been stored outside in the sun, leaving us with some heat damage to the perfect leather as well as peeling varnish on some of the wood trim. So our insurance company finally decided to *total* our car. Now, since the wiring did get fixed, our car does run correctly and all it needs is to be re-licensed to drive down the road (we have all the paperwork). It still does need some work on the interior after the sun damage which was our plan but we are just too busy to get to it. So this great old car is now looking for a new owner that has time to spend on a great project.
