Vehicle description
I am selling a silver 1976 Porsche 912e. It has a 5 speed gear box. In very good mechanical condition. A very well sorted out car. No rust anywhere, bottom of the car is clean! Has led headlights that make night driving a pleasure, front and rear sway bars. A front lower turbo spoiler that was specially made for a narrow body car. The brakes and tires are near new. The Emergency brake works perfect. Has s/s brake lines front and rear. Has turbo tie rods that gives it tight steering. Original Fuchs rims that are dated 4/76 and the spare rim 3/76. New shiftier bushings. The transmission and motor work perfect as they should. The motor has electric ignition. There are no oil leaks or oil used between oil changes (brad Penn 20-50). still has original paint but shows signs of scratches and chips over its life time (41 years). Was a two owner California built car before my ownership. I have the certificate of authenticity and all numbers match. I have a thick log book of work done on the car. The cars Vin is 1836, transmission Vin 1838, motor 1861, paint code 936-9-3. Has an after market radio. I"m not afraid to drive the car in the rain and it runs perfect. The wipers, heater, and defroster work perfect. the interior is flawless accept one California dash crack. The clock was not working so i replaced it with an oil pressure gauge but it is not wired up yet. Has a working sun roof. I drive the expressways at 70 mph and the motor rpm"s are at 2800 which is great for an air-cooled motor. The cooling fan is attached to the motor crank shaft so if the fan belt were to come off you will not over heat and destroy the motor like many porches will. I will answer any questions you may have, or send pictures you may need. I will pay shipping to the lower 48 states if you chose the buy-it-now option. car is sold "as is" so please ask questions and study pictures. 585-857-2457 Steve.
