Private Party Sale. Please read entire ad. The Trans Am was White Exterior (when new), with Firethorn (red) Deluxe Interior. This is a RUST FREE 76 Pontiac Trans Am 400, Automatic. It"s very original, except for the color change. This car spent 43 years in the desert (Indio, California), I just recently moved it to Prescott, AZ about 3 months ago. You would be hard pressed finding any 44 year old car with a body this solid. It hasn"t been on the road since 1997, it was parked when the transmission had issues. The car ran and drove until that time. One of the best things about it, it"s all there! Just needs someone to bring it back to life (please paint the car the original white). I have included a picture of what the car looked like new (the white car pictured is not the car, only showing what the car looked like when new). I believe I am the second owner. I have a clean AZ title in my name. This awesome Trans Am is going to the highest bidder, I set a very realistic price, didn"t set a reserve price, only a starting bid. The car is in storage but can be seen by appointment only. Please bid with confidence, I have used Ebay for 20 years, as you can see I have 100% positive rating on every transaction. The car does turn over but does NOT run or drive. It"s been parked since 1997, and as you can see by the photos it hasn"t been washed since then either. It"s a real diamond in the rough. That is only dirt and desert sand that you see in the photos. I could only add 24 photos, I did the best I could. I set the opening bid to a realistic starting point. Someone is going to be very happy with this car. I believe it"s the original engine and transmission in the car, but don"t know how to verify. Buyer pays shipping or picks the car up in Prescott, AZ. Again, the car does not run! Winning bidder needs to pay in full by bank wire within 3 days of the end of the auction, the car will get released upon the funds clearing. A deposit of $1,000 via Paypal is required right after the auction ends, so I know the winning bidder is legit. The car is very original (except for the terrible cheap red paint job), you can see the original white paint in some of the photos. I have a lot of extra parts that come with the car, including a rebuilt transmission, all 4 new fiberglass fender flares, much more. The original color combination is beautiful. It"s a very solid car, but it is a project car in need of restoration. Bid to buy, this is a real deal private party auction. I didn"t put a reserve price or any of that nonsense, only a starting bid price to protect my investment. The car will be sold. The Trans Am is being sold "as is", "where is". (Prescott, AZ). It appears to have never been in any accidents, the best I can tell. I reserve the right to end the auction early if there are no bids on the car.
